Gah.

Ok, after almost two years... Finally posted a new blog entry~ Lots of changes happened. Kinda got attached to other blogging sites. Mainly multiply. Also, I've made a new account on LiveJournal. Yeah. I didn't really like my blogdrive account because it's kinda suckish. Lots of wrong grammars and things people don't really give a damn about. But after two years, I've realized that I will not take down this site not matter how embarrassing and suckish it may be. It's been a part of me. Had this blog for a long time. I don't know how to blog here again because it's been a while. But here is my new lj account: http://sexymewhatu.livejournal.com My multiply account: http://chemicalnova.multiply.com My plurk account: http://www.plurk.com/dandelionaid My deviantArt account: http://deviantart.com/dandelionaide

INACTIVE for GOOD!

I know this blog is worth a lot to me...

My blog is worth $1,693.62.
How much is your blog worth?

But sometimes we move on for the better (or maybe the worse).
I've posted alot in this blog. And this blog may be 3 years old this June.
This blog contains 100+ of entries.
But updating this blog is not as simple as 1,2,3. Sometimes maintainance comes and it will take a while to post. For short, I don't want inconvinience.

So maybe, I will leave this for a while. But I will NOT leave this forever. (I think)
For those who are curious, I still have a blog in Multiply.

I'll just return if I feel like it.

TOP 10 BIGGEST BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS!

TOP 10 BIGGEST BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS
Reference: Albert Bernardo

1. No Breakfast People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

2. Overeating It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.

3. Smoking It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease. 4. High Sugar consumption Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

5. Air Pollution The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.

6. Sleep Deprivation Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.

7. Head covered while sleeping Sleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

8. Working your brain during illness Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.

9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

10. Talking Rarely Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain.

The main causes of liver damage are:

1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.

2. Not urinating in the morning.

3. Too much eating.

. Skipping breakfast.

5. Consuming too much medication.

6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.

7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.

8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store. We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule." Because:

Evening at 9 - 11pm: is the time for eliminating unnecessary or toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health. Evening at 11pm - 1am: is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning

1 - 3am: detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 3 - 5am: detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.

Morning 5 - 7am: detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel. Morning 7 - 9am: absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time.

Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit.

Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all. Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood.

Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin Killed! WTF!

"Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin Killed"
Credits goes to Yahoo! News

BRISBANE, Australia - Steve Irwin, the hugely popular Australian television personality and environmentalist known as the "Crocodile Hunter," was killed Monday by a stingray during a diving expedition. He was 44.

Irwin was filming an underwater documentary on the Great Barrier Reef in northeastern Queensland state when he was stung, Sydney's The Daily Telegraph newspaper reported on its Web site.

He collapsed at Batt Reef, near Low Isle and the resort town of Port Douglas, Queensland state police said in a statement. Port Douglas is about 1,260 miles north of Brisbane, the state capital.

A rescue helicopter rushed to the scene but Irwin had died, the statement said.

Queensland ambulance service spokesman Bob Hamil confirmed that a diver had been killed by a stingray off Lowe Isles Reef and said cause of death appeared to be a "stingray strike to the chest."

Irwin was famous for his enthusiasm for wildlife and his catchword "Crikey!" in his television program "Crocodile Hunter," which was first broadcast in Australia in 1992 and has aired around the world on the Discovery channel.

He rode his image into a feature film, and developed the Australia Zoo as a tourist attraction.

Irwin had received some negative publicity in recent years. In January 2004, he stunned onlookers at the Australia Zoo reptile park by carrying his month-old son into a crocodile pen during a wildlife show. He tucked the infant under one arm while tossing the 13-foot reptile a piece of meat with the other.

Authorities declined to charge Irwin for violating safety regulations.

Later that year, he was accused of getting too close to penguins, a seal and humpback whales in Antarctica while making a documentary. Irwin denied any wrongdoing, and an Australian Environment Department investigation recommended no action be taken.

Irwin was also seen as a vocal critic of wildlife hunts in Australia. The federal government recently dropped plans to allow crocodile safaris for wealthy tourists in the Northern Territory following his vehement objections.

Irwin told the Australian television program "A Current Affair" that "killing one of our beautiful animals in the name of trophy hunting will have a very negative impact on tourism, which scares the living daylights out of me."

He is survived by his American wife Terri, from Eugene, Ore., and their daughter Bindi Sue, 8, and son Bob, who will turn 3 in December.

Foreign Minister Alexander Downer, who used a photograph of his family at Australia Zoo for his official Christmas card last year, hailed Irwin for his work in promoting Australia through projects such as "G'Day LA," an Australian tourism and trade promotion week in Los Angeles in January.

"The minister knew him, was fond of him and was very, very appreciative of all the work he'd done to promote Australia overseas," Downer's spokesman Tony Parkinson said.

Stingrays have flat bodies and tails with serrated spines, which contain venom and can cause cuts and puncture wounds. The creatures are not aggressive and injury usually occurs when a swimmer or diver accidentally steps on one.

International Astronomical Union meeting

In order to put these matters to rest, in August 2006, 3,000 astronomers and scientists of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) gathered in Prague, Czech Republic to deliberate. The organization planned to publish an official definition of "planet", ruling on whether to call Pluto a planet, dwarf planet or a Kuiper Belt Object (KBO).[22][23] The draft proposal classified Pluto along with 2003 UB313 and any other spherical TNOs that may be discovered, as planets, although they would have been informally labelled 'plutons'. The asteroid 1 Ceres and Pluto's moon, Charon, would also have been considered planets.

On August 24, 2006, however, the previous draft was reversed, according to the newly passed rule, Pluto was demoted from planetary status to a dwarf planet and is accompanied by Ceres and 2003 UB313 in this category. There are three main conditions for an object to be called a 'planet', according to the IAU resolution.

  1. The object must be in orbit around a star, but not be a star itself.
  2. The object must be massive enough to be a sphere by its own gravitational force.
  3. It must have cleared the neighborhood around its orbit.

"Field Trip" raw namin...

Late nanaman ako para manood ng isang dula na Noli Me Tangere. Tapos iba na seating arrangement compared sa Florante at Laura sa AFP Theather last year. Siguro school yata namin late ngayon.Shocked

Nakaupo pala ako sa pinakalikod as in likod.

Halos lahat sila may kapartner.

Oo nga pala, di naraw planeta ang Pluto.Surprise
Go figure.Shocked

Salmonella Contamination In Seven Cadbury Chocolate Brands

Seven Cadbury chocolate brands have been recalled due to salmonella contamination.
The Food Standards Agency, UK, has issued a Food Alert for Action.
Cadbury Schweppes responded by recalling the seven brands - they also issued a press notice on June 23.

-- Food Alert for Action.
-- Cadbury Schweppes Press Release

Products should be returned to:

Cadbury Recall
Freepost
MID20061
Birmingham
B302QZ (United Kingdom)

There is a free helpline at (UK) 0800 818181.

The following products are being recalled:

-- Cadbury Dairy Milk Turkish 250g

-- Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel 250g

-- Cadbury Dairy Milk Mint 250g

-- Cadbury Dairy Milk 8 chunk

-- Cadbury Dairy Milk 1kg

-- Cadbury Dairy Milk Button Easter Egg 105g

-- Cadbury Freddo 10p

Over one million chocolate bars have already been removed from shelves in the UK.

Apparently, a leaking pipe at Cadbury's Marlbrook chocolate factory in Herefordshire caused the salmonella contamination. The fault in the pipe was discovered in January, 2006. Samples were sent to an independent laboratory which identified a rare strain of salmonella (salmonella Montevideo). Cadbury Schweppes says this is purely a precautionary measure. Levels of contamination, they say, are well below danger levels.

The company says people should not be alarmed if they have eaten any of these seven brands. They can contact the company if they want a full refund. The Food Standards Agency is carrying out its own investigation and advises people not to consume the products. The Health Protection Agency is carrying out a separate investigation.

Symptoms of Salmonella Gastroenteritis

-- Sudden onset of nausea
-- Abdominal cramping
-- Bloody diarrhea with mucous is common

Salmonellosis (salmonella infection) has no real cure, only the symptoms can be treated. Less than 1% of cases are fatal. Symptoms usually appear within 6-72 hours after the it enters your body. The patient usually recovers after 5 to 7 days. The main thing to look out for is dehydration. A complication can be when the infection spreads out from the intestines.

If your diarrhea is severe you will require rehydration.

Antibiotics are used when:
-- The illness persists
-- The infection spreads out from the intestines
